3-Onlies Mala with Morganite, Cacoxenite, Smoky Quartz, Sandalwood Beads

**FREE shipping in the USA

This powerful and beautiful 108-bead mala necklace contains everything you need to support the three basic tenets of the Namaste Experience: Only Love, Only God, Only Now!

Not only does the mala have the 3-Onlies medallion, but the 3 types of gemstone beads were specifically incorporated to support EACH of the 3 principles for their particular energetic properties. (See below)

Above the 3-Onlies medallion hangs a double pointed quartz crystal, which serves as an amplifier to all the other stones. Two small amethyst rondelles sit above and below.

The beads are strung on natural hemp cording and hand knotted between each, except for the sandalwood section where tiny glass beads take the place of knots.

This mala can be worn as a necklace but it's quite long - long enough to be worn doubled up as shown in the photos.

The mala comes with its own lovely handmade linen bag!

ABOUT THE GEMSTONES

Only LOVE = Morganite

Morganite (a form of beryl often appearing in soft shades of pink and peach) is a heart chakra stone described as the Crystal of Divine Love - always ready to take us by the hand and lead us into the light. Morganite reminds us that we are all connected and separateness is an illusion. This lovely stone helps lower the veil between ourselves and Spirit, allowing for better access to spiritual guidance at the emotional level. Morganite goes straight to those places where the heart needs to heal, filling us with divine love and compassion.

Only GOD = Cacoxenite

Cacoxenite is referred to as the “stone of ascension” because it is an extremely powerful stone for awakening the chakras and enhancing balance, harmony, and spiritual attunement. This special stone fosters our connection with the angels, divine masters, and spirit guides - supporting deep healing and regeneration on all levels. Cacoxenite is even commonly used during world meditations due to its extremely high vibrational energy that support universal healing. It is a primary component of the Super Seven crystal, therefore it works well with smokey quartz, clear quartz, amethyst, Goethite, and lepidocrocite with rutile.

Only NOW = Smoky Quartz

Smoky quartz is a powerful grounding stone that can help us connect with the present moment. It works on the root chakra to help anchor us - help us stay rooted in the NOW!

A Little About Malas

A mala is a string of beads used traditionally to count mantras (prayers) while meditating. One mantra is recited as your finger moves along each bead.

Mala beads can also be worn as a necklace to align one with their spiritual journey.

The word "mala" is the Sanskrit word for “garland.” Interestingly, the word “bead” comes from the Anglo-Saxon word “bede” - which translates to “prayer”!

Malas traditionally have 108 beads because 108 is a sacred number in numerous world cultures and traditions, including Hinduism and Buddhism.

In Hinduism, 108 represents the wholeness of the universe. In Buddhism, there are 108 mortal desires that impede enlightenment. Yogis practice a sequence of 108 Sun Salutations. There is even profound astronomical significance to the number 108!

There are also mala bead variations such as bracelets that may have 27 or 54 beads, or any multiple of 9.

In 108 bead mala necklaces, "marker" beads are added to the 108 to help one keep track of the count during prayers, as well as acting as a nice visual break in the bead pattern. They are often placed after bead numbers 27, 54, and 81.

The 109th bead is known as the “guru” bead (aka “meru” bead or “mountain” bead). The guru bead represents our greatest teacher and holds our prayers and intentions.

Mala necklaces are often finished with a tassel, which hangs below the guru bead. The tassel represents our connection to spirit. Alternately, they may be finished with a talisman or amulet.

When using a mala for meditation, start by holding your guru bead and setting your intention. Then say your mantras (or focus on your breath/pranayama) as you pass each bead along between your fingers. When you return to your guru bead, finish your practice by expressing gratitude to your teacher!
