They are made from genuine aged reclaimed bourbon barrels purchased from distilleries including makers, buffalo, turkey, woodford, beam, and roses.* This ring is made with our solid black ceramic metal and has a durable water resistant coating on top to protect the wood inlay. Our ceramic is a pure black metal that is not coated or colored, and is hypoallergic. Since ceramics are non-metallic, they do not cause any problems for people with skin allergies. This ring is has a light weight design and a comfort fit to wear all day in complete comfort. This ring has authentic reclaimed guitar string in the center of the inlay.

According to US Trade Legislation, a “bourbon” is a type of whiskey where the “mashbill”—which is the recipe of grains used to produce the whiskey—consists of 51% - 80% corn. Length of Aging - The bourbon that was in this reclaimed barrel must have been aged for a minimum of two years. Many premium bourbons on the market are aged between 5 -12, with some as long as 27 years, this barrel was crafted of solid white oak wood.
